Jan Sauer studied electronics engineering.
His working experience in Information Technology includes development of computer hardware, design of communication networks, software engineering, and general management of software houses.
As managing director of SQC, Jan Sauer provides independent advice on certification and accreditation of Information Security, Electronic Signature Certification Service Providers, and IT Quality Management.
He had a leading role in creating the TTP.NL Scheme for approval of Electronic Signature Certification Authorities in the Netherlands, participated in several European projects on standardization of electronic signature infrastructure, and advised the Government of India on implementing a program for certification of Information Security.
